Today Metropolitan Foods is still owned by the same family and is very particular about the quality of personalised service we are able to supply our customers. We are proud members of the Food Service Suppliers Association Australia Incorporated (FSAA), which recently re-branded from the company name of Food Industry Australia (FIA). The FSAA has been operating since 2005 when the former Australian Food Service Manufacturer’s Association (AFMA), which had been in existence for +40 years, moved to broaden its representation. The FSAA is the premier national organisation representing all suppliers to the Food Service Industry with members from various sectors of the industry, including Foodservice Distribution, Food, Beverage, Foodservice Equipment, Bakery Equipment, Tabletop and Furnishings, aimed at encouraging industry consultation, professional development and education. Being a member of FSAA enables Metropolitan Foods to be consistently up-to-date in the foodservice industry with new innovations, training and discussions within our company.
